alright sooo i had a nightmare last night.
i was being held captive in like, this torture camp located where whitney donut is. they used to put u in a glass cage with huge angry wasps and stuff and see how calm u could be or unleash tarantulas or just put u on a torture rack. so anyway, im in there for a while and im being scared to death. then, dan broder (?!?!?) comes with his car (he doesnt even have one in real life) and says that im leaving. he didnt know anything about the camp, he just said we were leaving. so, we're in the lobby and someone comes on the PA and goes remain calm, do not move, please remain still. and i was like "broder, fuck that, we gotta leave!" and he was like, "nah man, listen to the voice..." the whole building went on lockdown and the doors locked and lights started flashing, cuz i was close to the door. all of a sudden this girl comes in and goes, "since people are trying to escape, they had to start killing people so no one could get out and tell people about the torture camp. only one other survived." and i go apeshit, and started punchin at the glass windows on the door and before long i busted them, but there was blood and glass all over my hand. i squeezed through the shattered window and got out. im about to start running, but sister ann from my church(?!?!) who was running the torture camp got in my way, so i picked up a can of gasoline that was just lying on the ground in the parking lot and through it at her to slow her down. it got all over her. then lightning came down and struck a tree next to her, and a spark hit her, and she lit up like a chrsitmas tree. then she was all on fire and started chasing me. if you've never been chased by someone on fire, let me tell you, its some scary ass shit. this is about halftime in the dream, and i woke up.
i was sweating like a maniac and i was all out of breath and i realized that i had been thrashing around in my bed. i went to the bathroom to relieve myself. then i went back to bed.
so im in the dream now and im a fugitive. i start running and running down whitney ave, kinda towards the cemetary near legion, to throw them off in case they were chasing me. from this point on, my life becomes one huge paranoia syndrome. im scared of everything, that they might be chasing me. so i run up forest street, which is a friggin mountain, but i never slowed down or stopped to walk because they might be behind me. i went home, got some things i needed, and left, because the first place they might look for me is home. i start walking along evergreen, towards the other cemetary, when i see justin about halfway there. he has been in the torture camp too. so i was like, "omg, i heard another survived, but i couldnt believe it was you!" and he was like, "man we are prodigious escapees" and i told him that we'd be prodigious if we managed not to get caught once we escaped. so we couldnt go back to his house, since its so close to the torture camp and there would probably be someone watching his house since they knew he and i had escaped, so we hid out at legion field for a few days, with the food that i had taken from my house. but eventually, we ran out of food, so we went to kelly's kone konnection cuz we figured the torture camp people had stopped looking out for us and that we were gone for good. so we're walkin down whitney with our ice cream and we meet a bunch of girls and tell them that whitney donut is actually a torture camp and they just laughed. i met emily ball's sister. she doesnt have a sister in real life, but this girl looked a lil bit like her and talked exactly like her, but wasnt her, so i asked if she was emily's cousin, and she said she was her sister. so yeah, these girls didnt believe us. oh well. so we walk down to whitney donut to kind of scope it out, and our horror, we see that they've resumed the camp and gotten new prisoners. we decide that something must be done. we opened all the doors and lit the building on fire, so people came runnin out, and we just stabbed all the torture camp facilitators, whom we knew from our previous experience in the camp. the sadistic dude that would like, administer the tortures is actually billy bob thornton. so we stabbed him and some other people and let all the prisoners go and the building burned down and we were victorious. and the dream ended. |

so yeah, yesterday was a blast. woke up, mowed the lawn, then went to lake compounce, and everybody was mad at bryn for only bringing 10 bucks.
then after that i went to the kenny chesney concert with bryan and his sister and his sister's fried sam. long story short, ive never seen so many drunk people together in my life that i can remember, but i have been to a few nascar races.
highlights of the night
"im not watching u i swear!" - a girl walking by as bryan and i use the restroom/tree.
"wow, you are an absolute cutie! and your friend too! how old do u think they are? they must be under 21, they dont have the wristband on." - two 45+ year old women drunk out of their minds to me and bryan. she grabbed my chin. i hate it when people do that.
"poor cesca." - me, as matt cesca desperately tries to evade a girl hell-bent on raping him in her drunken state.
"did i just step in what i think i just stepped in?" - me to a guy trying to tell people to avoid a pile of puke.

last night i had the absolute weirdest dream. i absent-mindedly walked into our cafeteria which was filled with people with their hands up. then i looked at one of the teachers, who was waving a gun around, and he shot me. like, in the neck/shoulder. i guess i woke up a week or so later, and i didnt remember any of it, so my mom filled me in that id been shot and nobody had died and stuff and about all the people who i hadnt talked to since gradeschool came by to wish me well, and id never be able to play baseball again, and stuff like that. a little while later, i woke up.
the night before last night, i had a similarly weird dream, except it didnt involve people getting shot. i came home from something and was taking a shower with my bathing suit on (what??!) and people started getting in he shower with me with their bathing suits on too and it was really weird, especially since the shower in my dream is the shower that is currently torn apart and under remodeling construction. so we were like, "since everybody's here, lets have a party!" so we get all dried off and stuff and into normal clothes and we're in my basement and for some reason like, classical music is playing and people were waltzing around the room. thats right, waltzing. i have to say, im not a very good waltzer in my dreams.
so yeah, other than dreaming, this week ive been doin bible camp, except for thursday, when i decided to sleep until two. we beat east haven and madison this week and we're on a two-game winning streak. woo hoo. i went over bryan's house thursday after my game and hung out with bry, bryn, tom, amanda, and elyse, and we watched the end of dirty dancing and the beginning of hitch. wanted to kill myself. last night i went to brys and we watched oceans twelve and then me, him and tom went to see dark water (WORST MOVIE EVER DONT EVER SEE IT YOU WILL WANT YOUR MONEY BACK!) and then we went to bryn (not bryan, bryn)'s house, and her friend kate hung out with us and it was fun. i got raped in darts. by bryn and and bryan. we watched a series of unfortunate events and then i came home and these past two days, im sorry to say, have probably been most of the fun ive had this summer.

today we were up 3-0 in the top of the seventh and about to get our 2nd win in 15 games when a kid from orange hits a home run with 2 outs to tie the game. they scored two more runs that nining and we lost.
then i went to a party in cheshire with bryan and, long story short, i came this close to beating the shit out of him. its the first time we've ever physically fought in about 5 years of knowing each other. its a good thing he ended up backing off.

we're re-doing the bathroom!
i got to take a sledgehammer to all the tile in the shower and bust it loose. and then i started cleaning up all the rock and tile that have been knocked loose. and then i started carrying the buckets full of stuff downstairs. then i realized there was blood on the stairs and it was running from my hand to my elbow and dripping off of it and i didnt know i was cut. bleh. then i went to james's house, then i went to burger king with dad and got salt in the cutso n my hands because i ate french fries, then i went to my game that had actually been cancelled, unbenkownst to me because my retarded coach didnt leave a message on my home phone when i was out. i mean, first u punich me by sucking at coaching and letting the team get to 1-9, then u make me go to baseball games that dont exist.
so yeah, that was my day, pretty much.
and shannon's surgery went ok. and im glad. |

so yeah, legion baseball has started and we've had games like, every day, and we've been very consistent. at losing. we won our first game yesterday against shelton, but we've lost 9 others.
i started out 8 for 16, and now im 11 for 33. way to suck alex.
i moved over to second base to make room for freshman sensation kyle cummings.
shannon's surgery was today. i have to say i thought about it for a good hour this morning and everything that could go wrong and really freaked myself out.
i got new golf clubs a few weeks ago, and i havent been able to use them yet. too much baseball. im hoping to go sometime this week, but we'll see.
lauren is back in maine double you tee eff mate.
i saw star wars episode 3 last night at josh's house. unedited, with the numbers on the top, and all skinny and stuff. bootleg version. its still in theatres.
and yeah, amanda turned out to be completely different than i thought, which is kind of funny. i guess im the second least perceptive person on the planet. next to elton john's exwife.
and i have to mow the rest of the effing lawn today. im sick of this shit.
and i had to wake up at 7 this morning to go to physical therapy at 8 and get acupuncture and the pulse thing for my hamstring. blehhhhh.

so yeah, its been a few months since ive updated. long story short, ive been the starting varsity shortstop for 2 weeks, i have the fourth highest average among starters at .333 and friday we beat notre dame for the first time in like, 5 years. and im quite happy.
mom gave me the ok for goin to the midnight showing of star wars episode 3 wednesday night. :)
sis is home for the summer, and while there are now less open tvs and computer time available, i appreciate having another licensed driver. hey, i have my permit now. got it the day i turned 16.

goddam what a shitty day. i expected worse though. after this morning, i figured id end up killing or critically maiming someone by the end of the day. but hey, its only 2:30
something happened before school today that made my kinda upset/distracted, and i would have done a lot better on my chem test if that hadnt happened, because all i could do was think about that during the chem test.
according to one of my most recent entries, all i have to do to be happy is eat. looks like im getting sushi today. lots of it.
i kind of feel like doing absolutely nothing this weekend, maybe just lounging at james's house all weekend. but im going to boston tomorrow. :/ im defeintely looking forward to it.

this week was definitely better than last week, despite having been in school for about 10 more hours.
monday i worked out, went to the model UN meeting (Boston next friday woot woot!) and then went to basketball and that was more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
tuesday we did the hhs idol auditions, and only like, 8 people showed up. 2 were terrible, the rest could sing. i dont understand. like, 40 people signed up to audition and 8 showed up. maybe they didnt know? w/e, i hope this runs more smoothly next year.
after that i taught ccd (not really, but thats what im gonna say i did).
wednesday for some reason i didnt have a good day, and i cant remember why, but i came home and got 30 dollars worth of sushi and upon finishing it i felt better. then i hit in the cages and worked out with 30 dollars worth of sushi in my belly and i did not feel so good. neither did my wallet.
thursday i did chem homework all day and then went to ixtapa :) and then to baseball, again with tons of food in my belly, this time mexican food.
yesterday i went to kevin's after school and then went and workedo ut and then came back to kevins and lost poker. i think im getting worse at poker. justin brought me, paul, and josh home. paul was about to walk home and mr. earley honked the horn as paul was walking in front of the car and paul jumped and almost slipped on a patch of ice. then we took josh home. then as justin and mr. earley dropped me off, mr. earley honked the horn as i was walking in front of the car and i jumped and slipped on a patch of ice too. i was laughing so hard...
this morning i shaved what was left of my long and beautiful beard. :( w/e, its not like i cant just grow it back again in 2 months. :)
so today it looks like ill be having baseball and then a basketball game, and i have no idea what im doing after that. tomorrow im having a superbowl party. you're invited.
oh yeah, and in that january first entry where i said i dont think i pulled my chem grade up to a B-? i did.
ive concluded that the reason i count this as a good week was because i ate a lot, and eating makes me happy. at least temporarily. im such a simple person. feed me, make me happy. easy enough, right? |

the english wasnt too bad, but i dont really need the help in that class, i already have an A for two marking periods. but i got a 96 on that midterm.
on a brighter note, health class looks like its gonna be a fun and exciting year.
mrs. defrank: now, i dont even know why they make me teach sex ed, its not like any of you havent had sex yet... sex ed, that is.
i love how kevin maloney looks directly at me when defrank said we were having a few lessons on steroids. as if.

well, midterms went great, besides chem. and math. my two worst classes. for the chem i prolly need a 40 point curve. to pass. math i need about 30 to ace it.
monday i had baseball and basketball, tuesday i taught ccd with jenna after eating at acrop and walking around the plaza, wednesday i had baseball after getting lunch with kevin, tim, and josh, thursday i had baseball, friday i had baseball after going to james's and after baseball i went to shannon's for her birthday party, saturday i had a basketball game after baseball and then i went to beck's house for her birthday party, and today i had baseball as well.
baseball six out of seven days. not too shabby.
yesterday we lost my basketball game by like, 15, and i got a really bad bloody nose. not fun.
sis went to quebec this weekend.
i think im getting sick.
i recently reunited myself with the juliana theory.
less than 2 months till the baseball season starts. not soon enough though.
